Jon Stewart's show The Daily Show airs Monday through Thursday at 11pm on Comedy Central, followed by Colbert's show The Colbert Report at 11:30pm. They usually make fun of today's politics using a style of comedy that is a parody of news media networks, such as Fox News and CNN. As it shows every night, they are never short on material. It's also no wonder that they are both great at what they do. Strangely enough, Colbert got his start on The Daily Show and eventually got his own show a few years later.
Although they both poke fun at politics and the media, they both approach it differently. The Daily Show mainly is a parody for news media in general, satirizing the media and how they handle politics. Here's a clip showing what parts of the show are really like.
